Description

This aerial photograph of Cincinnati was taken in 1994 and looks north across the city. The distinct white and black building in the foreground is presently the headquarters of Macy’s Inc. At the time of this photograph it was owned by Federated Department Stores, Inc. which merged with macy’s, Inc. in December of 1994.

Also of interest in this photo is the Covenant-First Presbyterian Church at frame left. This cathedral, completed in 1875, is built in the High Victorian-Gothic style and is part of the National Register of Historic Places.

The skyscraper at the lower right is Center at 600 Vine, a thirty story modernist structure.
