Abstract
Unedited camera footage from India Point Park in Providence, RI during the 14th annual Cabo Verde Independence Day Festival. Council-woman Young, on behalf of Mayor Paolino, presents a citizen citation to Oling Jackson, an organizer of the festival. Additional clips include candid shots from around the celebration and an interview with Julio Lopes in Kriolu.
