Hand written letter from Mary R. Alling to the Teachers and Alumni of the Rhode Island State Normal School. Includes a note added by Sarah Marble in 1921 explaining Mary R. Alling's relationship with he State Normal School and with herself. The letter is part of a series written by former teachers to be read at the leave taking of the Benefit Street Campus in 1898.
