Description
In this letter to his sisters, Joseph Peace Hazard writes about his travels from Istanbul to Egypt, via Israel and Lebanon. Topics include struggling with a bout of illness; the houses and geography of the various cities; a trip to the Dead Sea; a trip to the Grand Cairo market; the pyramids at Giza; and the flora and fauna he observed.
