This lecture was presented as a part of the Dialogue on Diversity Committee of Rhode Island College Spring Lecture series. Kevin Gover discusses the political atmosphere of a nation whose understanding of Native Americans falls flat. Gover emphasizes the importance of acknowledging the brutalization and assimilation of Native American culture, as well as how understanding the experiences of others can contribute to the enrichment of everyone's lives.
