Description
An image of one of the factories built in Crawley. After Crawley became a new town in 1947, it was intended to be economically self-sustaining and plans for the city to become a center for the manufacturing industry were put into place. Crawley has since had a history of industrial development, building and manufacturing. Continuous growth and investment have made Crawley one of the most important business and employment centers in the South East England Region.
