Description

The city of Lowell, Massachusetts played an important role in the American Industrial Revolution and many of its historic sites have been preserved. Visible behind this small urban park is a historic trolley line operated by the National Streetcar Museum, and the Romanesque style clock tower of Lowell City Hall constructed in 1893 by architects Merril and Cutler.
