About This Journal
Beginning in 2011, The IALS Journal will be hosted by the Adams Library at Rhode Island College (RIC). Thanks to Dr. Hedi BenAicha the journal will also appear in RIC’s Digital Commons which will allow for search-ability, instant access, and increased visibility.
The NALS Journal is a peer-reviewed, open-access journal published twice a year. Articles that contribute to the knowledge and understanding of laboratory schools, as well as other significant educational issues, are proffered. The subjects most addressed are as follows: teaching techniques; administrative concerns; functions of lab schools, innovations in curricula and programs; student growth and development, and teacher education. Response commentaries are also of interest. Occasionally the editors may solicit manuscripts pertaining to a specific trend or topic, submission of unsolicited manuscripts is generally encouraged.
