Description

This undated photograph is captioned, "Olneyville Sq." on the reverse. Based on the style of the automobiles in the photograph, we place the date to be sometime after 1920. The photograph shows a bustling Olneyville Suqre at the intersection of Westminster Street and Manton Ave. The square is heavy with automobile traffic and pedestrians, and still has trolley tracks in the road. In the middle, background of the photograph, the top of the cathedral at 1860 Westminster Street is visible.
