Abstract

A collection of loose papers and newspaper clippings with dates ranging from July 31, 1937 to December 24, 1937. During this time Michael DeCiantis served as the Chief of the Division of Public Utilities. Folder 24 primarily covers the debate of a petition to remove passenger service on a Bristol and Warren rail line. The folder also covers a scandal involving Gov. Robert E. Quinn and the arrest of a political critic.
