In this letter to his sisters, Joseph Peace Hazard recounts his journey from Hull, England to "Christiania" [Oslo] and his travels in Norway. Topics include a visit to Hull, England from the ship; his talks with the captain, including the story of a bear mauling; and the trees, flowers, agriculture, wildlife, and geography of Norway.
