Description
In this letter to his sisters, Joseph Peace Hazard recounts his steamship journey from New York City to Liverpool, England and subsequent journey to Year Tree, England. Topics include the marine life he observed from the steamer, the sight of the bays and mountains of Scotland and Wales, and his wonder at the beauty of the English countryside.
