Download The files in the scrapbook contains newspaper articles that were unreadable from the digitization process. These articles were not readable as they were folded into smaller sizes to fit onto the pages of the scrapbook. Thus, these newspapers are now unfolded and are arranged more neatly, making them more easy to read. Each of the newspaper clippings are from the same page, as the subject of each clipping pertains to historical buildings around Rhode Island. (143.7 MB)
Abstract
The documents that are prevalent in the scrapbook are drawings and pictures related to Rhode Island culture. Within the scrapbook, these drawings depict items related to clothing, utensils, buildings and other assorted drawings from various time periods of Rhode Island history. There are also pictures that contain background information on various historical buildings in Rhode Island before the 1940s
