Download The files in the scrapbook contains newspaper articles that were unreadable from the digitization process. These articles were either mix-up and were not readable or they were folded into smaller sizes to fit onto the pages of the scrapbook. Thus, these newspapers are now unfolded and are arranged more neatly as they are more easy to read. (807.7 MB)
Abstract
The scrapbook contains various newspaper articles that focus on the International Ball and other cultural topics in the Rhode Island community. There are prominent cultural clubs that are involved with the international Institute and participating in the event. There are newspaper clippings involving weekly meetings and shift of leadership in these groups. These newspaper clippings pertains to general meetings and introduction of new leaders being elected in various cultural groups.
