Abstract
A professional will enables social workers to plan for what happens if they die or become incapacitated. It spells out the steps that colleagues or other parties should take to ensure that clients’ needs are met in a timely fashion. This guidance can be particularly helpful when death or incapacitation occurs without forewarning. A comprehensive professional will should address several key issues.
