A History of Named Places and Architectural Development: Rhode Island College, 1958-2012

Elizabeth Warburton, Rhode Island College

Abstract

Elizabeth Warburton, an aluma of Rhode Island College, created this publication of the history of the buildings that make up the Rhode Island College campus. Its purpose is to bring to light the history that is all around the campus through its architecture. It is a metaphorical visual telling of the history and growth of the college and is excellence in educational programs. Complete with photographs of the building and those they were named for, it teaches how the story of the college is told though its physical presence and by listening to its places and buildings.
