Baìa das Gatas
Description
Fishermen pose at Baìa das Gatas, located on the rocky, north eastern of São Vicente. The bay, named for the sandy-colored tiger sharks that are often spotted there, is a brilliant location for fishing and is the home to fishing villages and semi-permanent fishing camps. During the week it has the feel of an out-of-season seaside resort, but during the weekends it is a popular resort and nightlife destination.
