Abstract
The Voice of the International Institute was a radio program broadcast on WRIB in Rhode Island. This episode, originally aired on April 17, 1960 at 4:00 PM. The goal of the radio show was to raise awareness of the International Institute and the services they provide. This episode tells the story of refugees from the island of Fayal who moved to Rhode Island due to devastating volcanic activity in 1957 and 1958.
