Description

Miami Beach Golf Club and residential areas of Miami. From the 19th century into the present, Miami Beach went from being a swampy sandbar to a coconut farm to a man-made, white sand beach metropolis, popular for vacationing and retirement. This photo encapsulates some of the socio-economic growth of South Beach as it draws attention to retirement homes, hotels, a golf course, and more.
