Description
The article details the dedication ceremony of Monsignor Carvalloaro Plaza, at the land between Atwells Avenue and Spruce Street. Monsignor Carvallaro was at the time pastor of Our Lady of Mount Caramel Church. Speakers in attendance leading the ceremonies were established political and church figures of Providence, including then Mayor Vincent A. Cianci Jr., Bishop Gelineua of the Dioceses of Providence, and the article's author Commissioner Joseph R. Muratore.
