Description
Villa da Ribeira Brava, meaning "rough streams," is a town of colorful buildings in an interior valley of São Nicolau. It is the main city on the island. The village gets its name from rivers that runs through the valley, but also from the a city of the same name on Madeira, which shares many of the geological features (loacation in vallery, relatively fertile land, streams).
